INTERNATIONAL PATIENT CENTER:
The International Patient Center at Central Hospital is a full-service office that assists overseas patients seeking a consultation, a second opinion or medical treatment. It is alsı a full-service office that helps those patients and their referring physicians navigate the care journey.
We understand the stress associated with illness, particularly when treatment is received outside of one’s home country. Patients will be paired with an international patient coordinator, who serves as a single point of contact before, during and after the patient’s visit. The coordinator advocates for the patient and provides assistance on all aspects of his/her stay, including:
• Appointment scheduling with Central hospital physicians
• Coordination of the admissions process
• Assisting with visa procedures
• Interpretation in many languages using Central Hospital Interpreter Services and access to additional language services as needed
• Transportation arrangements, including airport pickup and ground ambulance services to Central hospital
• Long- and short-term lodging arrangements for patients and their families
• Assistance with financial arrangements, including advance estimates for fees, deposits and payment
